Internet-less Email

For the past few weeks I’ve struggled with an amateur radio system capable of relaying email during an emergency situation—Internet failure. It is currently configured to transfer email over the Internet by using Telnet. When completed and with Outlook Express properly configured the system will recognize my radio instead and react accordingly. However, my learning curve took an unexpected turn when I discovered that Outlook Express has been superseded by Windows Essentials. Without a doubt, I’m the last individual on the planet to become aware of this change. More later.
