IT LOOKED PRETTY GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE

John, standing on the left, was a factory rep for BSA in the 1960s. His area was Texas and Oklahoma. The motorcycle in the photo was shipped to him with instructions that it for display only. Under no circumstances should he try to start it.

Everything went well. He took a few orders. At the end of the showing and after everyone was gone, he pulled a spark plug and shined a light through the hole.

He said there was nothing inside!
