Mia spends most of her time in confinement. But about every other day she is set free in the backyard to explore. She makes no snap decisions. Every step is the result of considerable planning.
During her freedom days she often travels fifty yards. Mia’s long-term goal is to slip beneath the hedge where she is difficult to catch when its time to head back into the house. I’m certain of this, because each time she sees me approaching she runs away.
