In search of quiet moments.
Kids don’t like bedtime. Without a doubt this has been the case throughout history. It was no different at our house. Quiet time was something for which we yearned, but only heard about. Now, since our youngsters are grown we’ve had time to think this through. Though it’s a few years too late, we think we have a solution.
We would switch our quiet time to the other end of the day – morning.
Rolling out at five o’clock, or even four, is not so difficult as long as it’s our idea. Doing so would give us a couple hours to read, write, have coffee … whatever. There is only a remote chance someone is get up and interfere.
What say you?
