I owe Green Renaissance for this photo and idea.
Though I’ve never owned a model train, the clever creativity in those life-like scene have always captivated me. It’s not the trains that delight me as much as it is the tunnels, bridges, trees, shrubs, and landscaping. That is why this photo nailed me.
The plants and small stones from a fish aquarium offer a living garden for anyone, even those who lack the space for such life-size luxuries. The fact that it can be the result of a broken flower pots and other things headed for the trash makes it even more attractive.
The potting soil accompanying a cast-away plant may be enough to start this unique project.
Let your imagination and your budget be your guide.
