The Trail? No, it’s a 255 mile bike trail between Clinton and St. Charles, Missouri. It’s the old Katy Railroad right-of-way. The railroad cut through a farm, so they put a large culvert for us to travel through and the cows walked over the top. It was a true adventure. It took us days. The bike is a Tandem Two’sDay custom built by Bike Friday in Eugene, Oregon.

Ah, the bike. It’s a folding tandem. They weighed us, measures us and then welded it up. We paid $2700 for it. Rode it to Grand Canyon and across most of Arizona along the Mexico border. Barb has arthritis in her knees, so now we talk about it 🙂

Nifty sounding bike! Grand Canyon, the most magnificent place …definitely a ‘must’ see for those who haven’t been.
