Waiting

For some reason I was rested at 3:30 this morning, Thanksgiving morning. I was hungry, so at 5 o’clock I started my day – checking my WordPress account, starting coffee, and penciling in my journal. I knew the morning coffee was not going to be kind, so I had a couple of handfuls of corn chips.

By this time it was 6:30, the normal time Barb likes to get up. We read chapters 29, 30, and 31 in the Book of Ezekiel. Then we had strawberries and yogurt for breakfast. That didn’t last very look, so I had a muffin.

About 7 o’clock Steven, Evie’s husband started his smoker, doing a two turkeys and one ham.

It’s now nearly 2 o’clock and my muffin is gone.
