This past Friday night several severe tornadoes ripped through North Texas. One of them was on the ground for about an hour. It missed us by several miles, but a friend’s mother-in-law was in its path. She lost the roof off the garage and part of the house roof is missing.
The following morning, at first light, she and her husband were out in a driving rain storm deciding what they could do about the situation. Directly, a stranger pulled into their driveway with a pickup hauling a grill and did what he could to help.
He fixed breakfast them.
You’ve got to take care of the basics in order to be able to take care of a bad situation. Good for him.
