Whisper

Many years ago, perhaps more than my 78, one of my great aunts and uncles, while touring Salt Lake City, attended a live performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The construction of the auditorium is such that no electronic amplification is required, explained someone in charge, giving a brief explanation of acoustics and then cautioning the audience to refrain from talking. “My, this is so beautiful,” whisper my great aunt into ear of her husband. “Or whispering,” the man added after a brief pause.
