When my home was in the Pacific Northwest a hot air balloon club sponsored a treasure hunt with no time limit. (I didn’t own a balloon. I couldn’t participate, but I could monitor) The prize was a new Chevrolet automobile. All the winner had to do was find the keys. There was only one clue. They were in Oregon, somewhere between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, the Columbia River and the California border.
The entire summer passed. Finally, in September someone found them atop a power pole on the Oregon Coast just outside the Newport city limits.
